About.

I'm a software engineer, author, and mentor—and notably, the first Google Developer Expert (GDE) for Flutter and Dart from Trinidad and Tobago (and the broader Caribbean at the time). My journey in tech has taken me through a variety of open-source projects and community initiatives around Flutter, including developing the popular VS Code plugin Awesome Flutter Snippets and co-founding the Flutter Community Medium publication (once the largest of its kind). Along the way, I've organised and judged hackathons—most notably winning Trinidad and Tobago’s first National Hackathon, HackTT, in 2019.

Professionally, I've collaborated with clients ranging from government agencies to scrappy start-ups, all with the aim of delivering solutions that genuinely improve people’s lives.

In a somewhat unexpected twist for an engineer, I transitioned from a primarily engineering-focused role to marketing for technical SaaS companies, and I thoroughly enjoy everything related to developer tooling. Currently, I lead marketing at Stream while staying relatively active and hands-on in the product and engineering fields. Outside of work, you'll often find me going for a swim or tuning into Formula One.
